Diploma of Science

The Diploma of Science provides a pathway into the second year of a Monash University Science degree. Core subjects introduce students to the fundamentals of the scientific method in both theory and practice, and units are available across a range of science and related disciplines including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Psychology, Computing and Engineering.

How the program works

As part of the Women in STEM Diplomas (Part 2) program, you will study the same subjects as first-year University students and develop your specialist knowledge.

Academic entry requirementsATAR score of 60

Pre-requisites: satisfactory completion of Units 1 to 4 in any Mathematics with an overall average of 60% or a study score of 25 in units 3 & 4 of any Mathematics AND Australian Year 12 equivalent in one of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Physics or Psychology
